Everytime I get a scab on my knee or something, I feel the need to pick at it. Then it bleeds and I'm without a band-aid. I know what's going to happen, but I do it anyway. Plus it hurts like hell. Maybe more than child birth if child birth were painless.

edit: I took that other thing out because it seemed mean and I didn't mean it to.

I have a relative who always had skinned knees as a kid. Always.
She has scars on her knees now and if you look closely, you can see little bits of dirt stuck underneath the scars.

hey it's only a dollar a day? come on, a dollar a day to stop self injurious skin picking! that's some deal. but you're probably right, though. I know you're already using that dollar a day to feed some poor child in a third world country. Always putting others ahead or yourself and your scabs.

hehehehehehehehehhee hee hee ;)

I always scratch at the inner part of my ears (I don't know why, I use q-tips and they are clean but I do it anyway) and end up making a small scratch then it bleeds.

Same with my scalp. It's fine, but when I get tired at night I tend to run my fingers though my hair to untagle a lot, and I tend to use my nails against the scalp as I do it, and I end up making myself bleed.

I'm a freak and I've said too much.

At least you don't eat the scabs. Ugh, I loved elementary school...

I scratch my head like Takashi Shimura. (http://www.freetype.net/features/anime/samurai7/images/op1.jpg)

The other day, in class, I was picking this little scab that's near my elbow (I wasn't even thinking about it... I was just doing it when I was listening to the lecture) and then it started to sting a little bit. So I looked at it and I was starting to pull off a little bit of LIVING FLESH with the sucker. Man, I didn't know what to do. Should I just walk around with a scab hanging there or what?

I did what I like to think anyone would have done. I treated it like a Band-Aid. I pulled that sucker swift and hard as I could (without causing too much ruckus, I was in class after all) and a chunk of my good flesh came along with it. Now it hurts worse than it originally did. In the end I resolved not to pick at it anymore, even though I did earlier today, and start applying Neosporin to the sucker. It's looking better already, actually.
