Earlier today I organised all of the CD's that had gone stray and scattered to all ends of the house, and tidied up the racks and made sure everyone was in their proper spot and all. And I noticed the the "B" section has probably a greater variety and larger number of CD's in it than any other. So as this is the Beastie Boys Board and all, I thought it might be fun to find out from everybody - what have you got filed under "B"?

Here's how this goes:
1. Each act/artist gets listed only once. It's not about which or how many albums you have, just the range of acts/artists you've got filed under "B".
2. This has to be stuff you actually already own, not some fantasy list of everything you want to buy in the B section of Virgin megastore, or a test of how many obscure Estonian emo jazz fusion artists of the late 1980's you can pull out of your ass to try and impress us with.
3. It's got to be a CD, cassette or vinyl for the purposes of this thread. Stuff you actually got up and left your computer to go out and purposefully obtain in a physical transaction. I'm not interested in what you've downloaded to your iPod.
4. No bollocksy rambling on about "Well actually I don't organise my music that way; I've developed my own classification system based on a synthesis of the ancient pict language and my highest Tomb Raider score." Play my way or don't play.
5. Don't list the Beastie Boys; that is considered a given.
Who wants to bet me that within 6 posts some dimbulb breaks at least 2 of those rules?

B must be the biggest on my shelves as well, S might be catching up tho.

It would take ages to type them so I just copied (http://members.chello.se/tuijasgarden/B.doc) my lists. They're not quite up to date tho', there was a few years when I didn't write down what I'd bought so there's still quite a lot missing. But you get the idea.

I have Captain Beefheart under C, because it's more like a band to me. I've had more problems where to have Iggy Pop and Lloyd Cole. I had Iggy on P for Pop, but then there was Iggy and the Stooges on I. Also Lloyd Cole and the Commotions were on L and his solo stuff on C. Then I just thought fuck it and have them all under the first initial to keep them together.

Also I have all the classical, compilations and soundtracks separate, so they're not on those lists
