McDonald's is not evil per se. It's all in the choices my child. Choose that fruit and walnut salad, another salad, grilled chicken etc. Things to avoid: the chicken strips (they are more artery clogging than the nuggets), Big Macs etc. Your best bets are the low fat ice cream cone, the nuggets etc. And watch those portions! If you want fries get a small.

If all this fails, just go to subway and order the vegetarian sub. It is the jank!

I'm talking about people who need to lose weight and who do that (exercise lots only to eat bad food or lots of it).

I know people who are like you--they exercise so that they can eat what they want.

That has a way of catching up with you, though, as metabolism slows in your 20s/30s and as demands on your time increase. You're left with the appetite for the foods you ate & in those quantities, but you don't have the time to exercise or you have to really ramp it up to get/achieve the same results.

I remember reading that somewhere when I was in my 20s. Some model said it. Something like, "You can be in as good shape in your 40s as you were in your 30s and MAYBE in your 20s. But you have to work 2, 3, and 4 times as hard. It's true.
