ok, i had a thread a while ago about my station wagon dying on the side of the road...and the title of my thread read "my silver bullet bit the dust today".

some people thought, by reading the title, that i was talking about a dildo. :confused: but that is just the name of my silver wagon. :(

so do other people name their vehicles (or bikes, boards, etc.)? or am i just weird?

so what's your mode of transportation's given name? and why?

My mother's car is named Goldenrod--no that's not the color. My third step-dad's is Pete (it's a PT Cruiser). My Gram-Gram's is named Blue Belle (again not the color.)

in my wagon you can make the backwards seat in the trunk, but it's not the same. :(

Holy SHIT, Beth! I didn't know that anyone else even HEARD of one of those, much less had one! THAT'S MY FIRST CAR, TOO! It was Red, and had the pleather seats that were so comfortable (like drivin' a freakin' lazy boy), and I had the X-mas lights in the back, leopard-print steering wheel, 8-balls in the mirror, and on the back I had a "If you don't like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk" licence plate frame. I named it the Beastie Pimpmobile, because I was rockin' the Beastie Boys bumper sticker, and Free Tibet sticker.

My second car was a 1990 LeBaron convertible, I just named the Pimpmobile (yeah I'm original).

My car now is named Smurfy, because of the color.

Car #1, 85' Buick Century 2 dr w/ a Landau roof-Prime Time because my best friend and I spent 6 months bondo-ing, sanding, and priming the body. A week before she was gonna get painted the engine crapped out.

Car#2 79' Cutlass Supreme- The Tank, This car was given to me by a friend for free and worth every penny! She lasted about 4 months before the engine crapped out and we took it completely apart in my best friend's backyard.

Car #3 91' Chevy Beretta (5spd)- El Beretto. I love this car, had some of the best times of my life in it. I miss her dearly RIP

Car #4 98' Pontiac Sunfire- The Sunny, or Spitfire. I put a decent amount of money into this car in after market parts as my anti-rice mobile. In the end it was still a Sunfire. I sold it to a dude known only as "Nasty Nate"

Car#5 90' BMW 525si- Blue. Meh, he was my first male car and we never quite meshed

Car #6 93 BMW 325si- I just got him but I we get along well and I'm leaning towards Carl or Marv
