HAPPY BARFDAY BOB! not that being 21 means anything to a seasoned drinker like yourself, but hey, now you can rent a car (while paying a large security deposit until you're 25)

Why is that funny?

Why is that funny?
because in australia you can drink at 18.

that and the fact you have to be 21 to drink but 16 to have a gun licence

I think that's resonable. We don't want drunk people who don't know how to use their guns. Getting the gun and car at 16, and then not being allowed to drink until 21 gives people a few years to learn how to use the gun and car while sober before attempting them while inebriated. Trust me, it may seem easier but driving while drunk and shooting a gun is much harder than you think it's going to be. For one thing the forty oz keeps sloshing on your pants when you're trying to hold it between your thighs and steer with your knees cause it takes two hands to steady that firearm. Mind the kick back. Wait, why am I telling you all of this? You're from Australia, you do everything while drunk! And you're always fighting and breaking things!

16 is a ridiculous age to be allowed to have a gun tho. semi automatics and automatics and hand guns are all banned here. and you aren't allowed replicas either, and in some states you aren't even allowed swords, which really is the way it should be. there's no point to having weapons like that in my opinion

Nuzzolese
06-30-2005, 08:36 AM
No, the bigger your gun, the safer you are because you have more protection than the other guy who wouldn't dare come after you and your ginormous hand cannon. I think since you can have guns and cars at the same age, and going on my aforementioned logic, the next step is automobile mounted artillery. Then the kid gets his car, it's fixed with a machine gun, and it's the sweetest 16 ever.

06-30-2005, 08:39 AM
hahaha, yeah soon you'll spoilt little rich kids who've just turned 16 driving around in Hummers with a 3 metre rail gun attached to the top. That'd really sort out traffic jams (y)

At least guns and cars are two of Bob's favorite things to talk about. I'm just gonna squeeze in here for a second and wish the big boy a good day, though. Carry on.

as much as i think guns are unnecessary i'd like to fire one once every so often.

btw, for all those of you who didn't know, australia has a duel olympic gold medal winner in shooting who goes by the name Micheal Diamond

how crazy's that?~!

last time i tried this, i woke up in a mulch pile. true story!

well, the part about the mulch pile, at least.

well, near a mulch pile. actually it was less of a pile and more of an arrangement, i think they were planting a shrubbery

thanks everyone! all caps, too! wow! i'm working now, but i'll be drunk soon, i promise

For his birthday we all pitched in and equpped his H2 with a full wet bar and a jacuzzi in back. As much as we could without excessive electronics, Xibit, and a dumb paint job, we essentially pimped his ride.

Documad
06-30-2005, 10:41 AM
I don't get why they put a big TV in the trunk. Do people gather lawn chairs around and watch in their driveways?

Also, how many of those pimped vehicles are stolen right after the show ends? I would have no safe off street parking for my pimped ride.

Bob, what will you order for your first legal bar drink?

Yeah, you bring the party with you. And even if you don't, purpose is not the goal, it's conspicuous consumption, it's new money, it's ghetto fabulous, it's WE GOT HATS NOW, MOTHAFUCKA! (http://www.avatarrecords.com/nwh/)

This reminds me of that one porn I watched, where this rockstar's manager was being nailed by the judge (in order to get him out of prison, you see), and this guy Bob comes in and says "Judge you've been disrobed!" and he was like "I could use a little help here, Bob." And so it turns into a threesome and the woman's got Bob's ding-dong in her mouth and then says to him "Yeah, how's it feel, Bob?"

They just had so much emphasis on the word Bob, it was ridiculous. Just like coming in this thread and seeing "Bob" everywhere.

Umm, anyways, happy birrrrrrrrrthday! (y)

I was thinking about Bob's experiences and stories with college life and the parties he's had there and now I just wonder what kind of bar guy he will become now that he has gained legal admittance into those pubs, those brasseries, boisoneries, embibery establishments. Bob may start to feel like one local place is a second home. Or he may club crawl each weekend. Will he wear his normal all-day clothes and stand against a wall nursing a Miller Lite? Will he order the chicken wings? Will he gel his hair and dance? Will he order a line of shots for everyone at the table? Will he hang by the bar and inch towards the glistening tanning salon bronzed surface of a Menthol smoking "blonde"? What is to come when that hazy embrace envelopes him and he's one of the guys in the clubs? And will he still be our Bob when he resurfaces the next morning?

If someone offers to buy you a "Jersey Turnpike," DON'T DO IT!!

what is it? i should collect a list of these kinds of drinks. so far i have this and a cement mixer (baileys and something, where the baileys curdles in your mouth and makes you barf). i don't want to look STUPID on my 21st birthday!

oh and you should all know that i'm going to be not posting for a week, but it's not because i did something stupid and died, it's because i'm on vacation. alive, hopefully

A Jersey Turnpike is when the Bartender wrings out his dirty wash-rag into a shotglass and gives it to you.

It's what 21-year-olds are typically ordered on their birthdays, because they're "newbies" in the drinking world, and it's initiation.
