This is a silly question, but I was wondering:

Do any of you know where the segments of the Intergallatic music video was filmed? particulary the scenes when they're dancing in the midst of a crowd in their construction outfits, and the camera's spinning a 360. It looks like an airport to me, but I'm not entirely sure. But for unusual reasons, I really do need to know. :o

Thanks for the help!

I'm in Tokyo, I can help.

I've been told it's actually Shibuya, but to me at first it really looked a lot like Tokyo Station, the main one and one of the biggest. Shinjuku is also possible, because I know the BBs frequent that area.

But take whatever you've read with a grain of salt, because Mike D himself has been known to make mistakes about Tokyo locations. For example, the story behind Soba Violence (BB Anthology) states that Mike was hanging in Shinjuku, on narrow streets where all of these used LP shops are; but that's actually Shibuya where all those shops are. Shinjuku's the sex-shop sleaze and booze area.

Wish I'd seen them filming that; it's amazing what one can get away with in public here. They must've have gone on for hours before somebody politely stopped them.

nice one! Maybe mike didn't want everyone to know that in fact he was in the sleazy sex shops?

All I know is I bugged out when I saw that video, with the Boys in those outfits. I've always thought Japanese construction outfits were hilarious so when I saw them dressed up in them that first time, I was like, oh god, what the hell are they up to this time. Just pure silliness.

Even this time around, even though the latest album is a bit "smaller" of a project (by this I mean the whole thing was recorded and mixed with software, and there's very little live playing on it), they still managed to put some funny stuff into the videos. The whole Sasquatch thing is great. Going trick-or-treating with Bigfoot and stopping off to shoot some hoops. It's just pure lunacy.

Also in Triple Trouble: Anyone catch Kanye West trying desperately to say something intelligible about the Beasties and Sasquatch? Funny as hell.

Another favorite moment: the end of Body Movin', when Adrock tastes his fine pudding mixture and makes a sensual, seductive face. WTF.

Oh my god I love that part, don't even get me started! Now why'd ya have to go and remind me? :D

It's f&&&ing hilarious. I don't know how he keeps a straight face.

I think they're all just trying to crack each other up by doing ridiculous s**t. Check out the interview on the main page here; they improvise this story about how things have been since the last album and how things are in the studio and 3 or 4 times it looks like they're just gonna lose it.

Mike says something about wearing huge pants made out of quilts. WTF.
