Very ILL dance. Shuffle of your feet where it looks like one foot kicks the other foot off the ground. Always done in a sideways motion. Could be done back and forth, or even in circular motion (eg. left foot kicks right, right lands, left comes down and kicks it again), and also with varying speeds

Cabbage Patch
Hold your fists closed, bend your elbows, push out and rotate your arms in a circle from your chest out and around!!!

Lots of other sites mention the smurf and say it was a big 80s dance move but none that I can find say how to do it.
