I enjoyed the college dropout myself and the corners track he produced for common.
but... there were a few tracks that i would skip by nearly everytime.

throw your hands is most assuredly my favorite track on that record.

half of kanye's game is runnin his mouth at how good he is, but he doesn't appologize for it nor deny it so i guess that's just who he is.

It needed to be said.

Decent MC, better producer, nothing at all special.

El-P, MF Doom, Rza, Dre, and even Necro to go out on a limb, are better rapper/producers than Kanye.

College Dropout was a hot album and it had good production.

At least Kanye developed his own style of production without particularly biting anyone else (minus the people he samples sometimes)

I've been
Workin' this grave shift
And I ain't made shit
I wish I could
Buy me a spaceship and fly
Past the sky

Fuck you, Lobster.

I dig Kanye. I think his rhymes are a lot more relevant than most of the bullshit floating around out there. And Guerilla Monsoon Rap is hot shit. I do, however, have a bit of a problem with him comparing himself to A Tribe Called Quest. That's slightly blasphemous, but ah well.

I really like Kanye and am looking forward to his new album August 16th.

on that note, I can see why people hate him so I'm not gonna defend his arrogance and such.

but yeah, i like him a lot

The more I listen to Lord Finesse, the more it seems to me that Kanye's whole rap style is bitten/built off Finesse's. Just sayin'.

Kanye's still something worth listening to these days, though.

I'd be pissed at his arrogance if he didn't have the talent to back it up. Which I certainly think he does have.
