We’re currently putting together a film of a show that Beastie Boys played at Madison Square Garden on October 9th 2004.
This project has so much traction that it has a frickin’ “green light” for theatrical release. Within Oscilloscope’s facilities
we are doing all of the off-line and on-line editing, sound editing and mixing. We’re also doing all of the authoring for the DVD…
Basically all the pre-pro, and the post production is getting done on sight. I’m telling you, The Scope is putting shit together.
Fools are walking around in lab coats over here. And that’s for real.

why has it taken so long to make this damn dvd? shouldn't you guys have tried to finish it while they were still on tour? or soonafter at least, while the tour was still fresh in the people's minds? i'm looking forward to its release, but come on, it's been 3/4 of a year since the show

you should appreciate beastie boys releases when they are sporadic. they always take their time between albums so its good to get something fresh inbetween them, right? like Alive, Sounds of Science, In a World Gone Mad between Hello Nasty and To the 5 Boroughs
