my car...

so let me tell you a little about it. the engine makes a funny clicking noise, the clutch slips, the windsheild is busted, the door handle broke off the inside of the drivers door, and it makes a weird very high pitched barely audible other noise, oh yeah, and the cv joint is broken.

last night my car died in the middle of an intersection. it did like it dose when it stalls, and then it woudlnt crank again. my headlights have been going dim, i think they went out for a little before the car died (later theyd come back on when the car wasnt cranked).

so everyoen said it was the alternator. my dad took it to have the alternator checked and they said it was good. he brought me the battery out of his car last night and the car started... but my battery is new.

hes out there trying to fix it now. probably he'll buy all kinds of stuff to replace parts. i was going to buy a new car though, and, well ok, i was going to buy bens car cause he's not taking it to school with him, and he said last night that once hes done with work i can go ahead and have it caue i need it more and just pay as i can, so i could have his car in only 10 days. my dad WANTS to help me buy this car...

so why is he out there spending money on fixing mine?
and what the hell could be wrong with it?

update: dad said he got the battery tested too, and that was ok, but by the time he got to the autoparts store, the battery was so dead that he had to keep the engine revved to keep it from cutting off on him.

i maybe will be in a couple weeks. today i went over to bens before work, and he made me drive his car to work (he didnt have work tonight)... i think he was like, trying to make me get used to the car.


i felt like an idiot. i had to have him crank it for me, and then when i got to work i coudlnt figure out how to get the key out of the ignition. and at first i coudlnt figure out how to move the things on the steering wheel that makes it go in reverse and drive and park and stuff. (tusn out the keys woudlnt come out cause i didnt put it in park first)

its not exactly pretty, but its better than what i got, and it'll be cheap. and there a 10 disk CD changer thing.
