Okay, it's about 5:18AM here (I got up to go to the bathroom), and I just thought I'd be the first one to start a Fourth of July thread. Sweet.

So America is some 229 years old today. That's pretty sweet I guess. Does anyone have any plans or what? I'm going to be working making that paper, y'all. Since it's a holiday, I make time-and-a-half which equates out to a measly nine dollars an hour. Yeah... awesome.

LOL I completely forgot it was the 4th until I saw this thread, being a lousy American as I am. Of course I do have the excuse of not actually being in America (not surprisingly, it wasn't really mentioned on BBC news this morning :o )

So yeah, um, I have no plans LOL

I spent the morning recovering from a long run and the afternoon shopping for and buying a new book. Addicted.

The bookstore was playing the new Coldplay album from start to finish.

It was one of the most pretentious bookstores that I've ever been in.
