You know rib sticking,caucasian comfort food kinda like Meatloaf and Tuna Casserole.....I've had tasty versions of both but never had them in my home...anyone got good recipes?We had this neighbor who made hearty meatloaf with vegetable letter soup in the mix and another friends mom used to do a terrific tuna/cheddar cheese casserole.....anyone got a formula for the culinary blues?
In the mean time I will suggest my fave comfort food:mash some potatoes with little bits of fried pancetta,whip cream,salt,parma cheese,pepper and portobello mushrooms in it,let cool...form into little sausage sized rolls,bread crumb with egg whites and oregano....deep fry.....and all the troubles in the world fade away,be careful not to burn ya self! :)
