Give a sense of your life eh.
I listened to the am talk radio and called up to give my weekly report and had fun with that.
I read the last few remaining chapters of my book to my new roommate and we had a discussion about it.
I went to the food coop to get some food (I had some cash on me for once since I presold some books yesterday)
I heard someone playing a saxaphone down the street from the food co-op and knew it had to be Eddie so I went and knocked on the garage door there and got invited in. He gave me some drum sticks and I tried to play the drums. I don't have a lot of experience in instrumentation. But Edie's saxaphone is kind of "experimental" so I didn't have to worry about being to practiced souning. In fact I was way too controlled I think. I need to be more musically uninhibbited and feel more free to "sound bad"
Had a long talk with Eddie about music, and Unitarian Universalism, and Opus retreats, and polyamory, and Nihilism.
Bought some food.

I went to check out this place that I might rent in the future. I talked to a few people on the phone. I studied. I finished up planning my trip for the summer. That's it basically.

Didn't want it to have to sit in the hot heat.
Yeah, I got to the food co-op and heard the music and took a detour.
the scenic route so to speak.

That's cool GreenEarthAl. Not to get too off the topic, but I'm an aspiring writer. I wrote a (short) novel a couple of years ago about a serial killer. I never tried to get it published or anything because I knew it wasn't all that good, and I really only did because I had written a few short stories and I wanted to see if I had it in me to write something long, almost novel-size. Also I did it because I thought I could never achieve my full potential until I tried something long, where I could really develop a good story. Anyway, I'm writing another book now, and this I'm taking very seriously. It's a much deeper story, and a pretty good one at that, original. I'll try to get it published one day. Any advice form a real writer like yourself would be very helpful. Thanks.

I'm self published. I've only sold a couple hundred copies of my book. Not that I'm not proud of it, but it's not exactly miraculous.
It's a good book though. If I had a marketing department and publicists and such I could sell a lot more. It's a two book series and I start writing the second book in August. Pretty excited.
i went into work for 3 hours. on the 4th of fucking july.
then i programmed phone numbers into my new cell phone.
i downloaded music for my ringtones on my new cell phone.
i went out and got laundry detergent and a king size reese's.
i'm getting ready to go to the top floor of the parking garage to watch the downtown fireworks display.
after that, i'm doing laundry.

bout to go take a nap with the fan on me.
so, from the top floor of the parking garage, i could see fireworks from 8 different spots in the city.
15 minutes later, it started lightning, so i went back to my balcony.
where i could only see fireworks from 3 different spots in the city.
they were beautiful though. happy 4th, everyone.

woke up and had a shower, ate some waffles, and proceeded to work.
Still at work currently at 2:25pm PST, and will be here until 4pm PST. I am doing PPC (Pay-Per-Click) pricing at the moment, as well as printing screen shots for my boss (my job is SO hard, sheesh).
Going to the gym after work. I will be on the elliptical, then do some crunches and then hand weights at home since I can't handle 10 lb weights at the gym.
Taking another shower.
Dinner.
Drawing. I don't know what, but drawing of some kind.
Going to Torrey Pines to see the red tide light the ocean up with blue neon looking lights, and taking lots of pictures.
