I was just wondering. the song alive isnt on any of their albums. it seems to have been made in their later years around the hello nasty era. if anyone has any info on it please let me know! thanks

today i bought the bboys dvd collection at best buy and today was the first time i had ever heard that song, so i too would like that on cd but im assuming that you could just get it off itunes or somthin. i love the part in the video when the 3 of them are all short and look like oompa loompas or minni mees.

yeah i never heard of it till i seen it on here. yeah the video is the shit. i had a hard enough time finding songs like heart attack man on the music download things or whatever. i never tried to search for it yet tho. hopefully its easy to find

Alive can be found on the Beastie Boys Anthology: The Sounds of Science.. track 19, first cd.. pick it up, it costs a bit more than a regular cd.. i imagine mostly because your getting 2 discs, and a nice booklet insert thingy but its a must have in my opinion.

yeah i've picked it up a few times but never really could afford it at the times i've looked through it. i would really like to have it tho. are any of the cd's enhanced for your computer with videos or anything like that?

nah, no fancy computer stuff... it does come with a really nice booklet in the cd thing, its like 80 pages long, with some fun pictures and an explanation or story about every song written by one of the guys

thats awesome. that is definately on my list of highly needed things lol. believe it or not i dont even own liscence to ill. but i have all of the songs burned on a cd but i'm thinkin about buyin it just to have the actual cd. along with paul's boutique

man i used to like brass monkey. then i got one of those picture phones that u can download actual songs for ringers. and the ONLY beastie song they had was brass monkey and i was like ok i'll take it i guess. then EVERY time my phone would ring it'd be "brass monkey! that funky monkey...!" and omg i so don't like that song anymore thanks to that lol

alive was released as a single aswell. i got the promo vinyl with a live big shot cover on the B side

Alive was recorded around '99 I suppose. It was released first as a single and later it completed the tracklist in the Antology.
