i've had problems sleeping since 2 summers ago when i didn't have a job. i would stay up extremely late or not even go to bed. since then i have a very hard time getting to sleep at a resonable time. so i take them whenever i need to get my sleeping habbits back on track.

Aahh. Does it help to get you back on track? Or do you have to take more than you would want to?

Having problems to sleep is simply terrible.

Just tried a Lunesta last week...the Doc gave me 12 of 'em. Ambien is better, less groggy in the AM.........but......the Lunesta will work all night. I use them about twice a month when Shifts change etc. I've been out on boats the past few months, the shifts get as crazy as you can imagine.

Paracetamol in case of a very bad headache and something called Rennie for stomach burn (which I've been having quite a bit recently).

I think I've taken about three or four pills between those two products this year.

I take some paracetamol, but only if I feel that I'm going to die of pain, which is once a month. :o

Otherwise, I just take a lot of caffeine.

When I have too much energy and can't sleep (and music and a walk do not help) I take valerian root.

It works quite well if you can stand the extreme (!) smell of it.

I mean, when I take it, I don't even touch it with my hands.
I touch it with kleenex.

I wonder if it makes me stink when I take it.
No one's ever said so (although when I've touched the capsules with my hands and didn't wash them afterwards, two friends noticed so if it made the rest of me stink, they probably would have noticed that too..?).

im an extreme lightweight when it comes to medications/alcohol. im close to 200lbs and and im shitfaced after like 3 shots. and im out within a half hour after takeing tylenol pm. can't even make it down the stairs to piss. and it lasts for a lot more than just 8 hours. im still fucked throughout the next day.

i have a nasal spray now too that i use sometimes in place of an antihistamine...it works like a charm
