View Full Version : Why'd I stop using AIM?
It certainly wasn't because of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory trailer playing in the buddy list window.

My girlfriend Heather has an old version of AIM that she defends to the death. She has back up copies. I know this because at some point someone allowed AIM to upgrade itself on her computer and she flipped out and would have ninjad all over the place except for the fact that she had backups of the old version.

My kid's mother's day gift to me this year was a hug and an "I missed you this semester" and then he signed me up on AIM. He created the profile for me and shit like that (like I couldn't have done that on my own...cute).
It was as close to sweet as you can get from someone in college.

if youre not online on msn, then you dont exist. if youre "absent", "busy" "on the phone" or "eating" then youre safe, but if your name doesnt go under any of the life forms msn has picked out for us...ya dont exist

Ewwww. I don't think of him like that.
;)
Seriously, there are a couple of photos of the younger Mike D. & he looks exactly like my kid. I've posted about this in other threads. I was able to send the one photo out/around and people thought it was my kid.

dude is your son hot?My guess is if she won't post pics of herself, she's not going to post pics of her kid.
ee, a younger mike d is okay, but I hope he doesn't age like the current version. :o

I sent that Mike D. photo to my kid and he was all like when did you take that photo I don't remember you taking it. Then I told him that it was Mike D. and after he stopped laughing, that was the first thing that came out of his mouth. Something like fuck, I'm going to age like that?!
I honestly think Mike D. looks wonderful. He looks long and lean very sort of take-charge/no-nonsense. I like that a lot. His face used to be puffier as was the rest of him--just a little squishier--I think he looks better now than ever before with the slight exception of one period where he had yellowy hair.
My kid is all over myspace between his own account and those of his friends but yeah, I won't post or point to his photo here.

Mike D's face is sunken -- ala Keith Richards --and he has hit that "early 40's look". Maybe it was a look, but I think the oversized sunglasses were to protect his rep. Alright, enough dissing of Mike D.

I know--he's craggyish but I like it on him. Sometimes that works for guys. It works on him.
Don't put Mike & Keith Richards in the same category. God no.
I might never be able to think of Mike D. in that good way again if you do that.
