I'll go first.

When people expect me to remember some task they said they MIGHT give me about three weeks ago. I have had at least 20+ tasks given to me since then, as if I will remember something they said they MIGHT give me. If you tell me that, it's on the backburner and probably will leave my head, buddy.
People who do not clean up after themselves in the kitchen. I end up cleaning things up since no ONE ELSE DOES IT! ARGH!

Love list:

We have a coupon for a free gallon of beer a month for Karl Strauss (which is right next door). Thus, at least once a month, I get to drink beer on the job.
Most of the company enjoys drunken get togethers and parties, and most of them are under 30, so there are lots of get togethers all the time.
Being the unofficial assitant to my boss and the owner. I get lots of perks: free lunches, free stuff they may get from other companies, etc.

Hate List

The folks on the large side whose orders tend to take half my shift at the snack bar
The guy who fired me once already
Kids who sneak into the theater who think they're the shit.

Love List

Tossing out those same kids. Especially if I'm feeling pissy. Then I call their parents just to piss everyone off.
Free movies
I got to keep one of the Land of the Dead posters.

*not having someone's thumb on me, keeping tabs on me at all times

dislike
. at least once a year, we take fundamental "self-discovery" seminars
. there can be too much gossip
. my building is often the location for anti-war protests
. there's too much pettiness and jealousy

love
. flexible hours
. good atmosphere for learning new things (not just work-related things)
. close to where I live
. some nice people work here

edit: I did mine in the wrong order. :) I had love first. I'm a sucker for romance.

Hate:

Just talking about my job could land me in jail (stupid Official Secrets Act)
Long shifts, sitting at a desk for most of it
Shitty long drive into work, through slow speed limits for at least half of it
No parking on site, have to pay for contract parking
We have kitchen facilites at work as our office is 24/7, but they suck
I work with some complete pricks
I have to talk to some complete pricks
I get e-mails from some complete pricks
I work a lot of weekends

Love:

Get lots of days off
Get paid quite well
The long drive in can be quite chilled, as I always miss rush hour because of the shifts I work
My team are all pretty cool
I'm right in town so things like Starbucks are close, and when we're on nights there's a kebab shop just round the corner

Hate
- Crappy worktimes (evenings, or very early mornings)
- I never know my schedule till a week in advance, and when I plan to do something on a day off it's always changed a day before, so I have to change my plans
- My boss. ("yeah you need to wear the red DE shirt this week. hmm.. you don't have one? well I have one, but you won't fit that anyway, it's only an L." Jezus, I'm not that fat you asshole!)
- Rude customers
- Having to ask the same fucking questions over and over again. (Do you want something to eat/drink with that? Regular or Large? GRRRR!!!)
- Colleagues who leave their junk behind all the time but complain when you've left 1 bit of cardboard.
- Colleagues that talk about you behind your back.

Like
- Some colleagues are ok.
- staff discount.
- free coffee
- the money.

Hates...

Having to deal with the politics of being in a Communications Squadron
I can't just quiut my job if I get sick of it.
Mass briefings that don't enrich my life or intelligence in anyway.
There are so many more but I'm getting angry just thinking about this.

Likes...

Getting paid every two weeks (could use more money but, I'll always day that)
Getting to meet some really cool folks (who drown out the majority of dirt bags)
Medical and Dental benefits get the job done.

another thing to the hate list: when people hand me things and walk away.

Yesterday someone handing me an open fedex box with some stuff in it, and said "here" and walked away. I was like ummm, ok. So I set it to the side. They just asked me if I sent it out yesterday.

me: "I would have if I you would have told me you needed it to be sent out, rather just just hand it to me and walk away."

Although I could have assumed it needed sending, lots of people also give me things to either hold on to or store. Thus, if you want something specific done TELL ME. I do not mind read.

I love cars so working with them is a plus
Internet access all day long
good compensation package and benefits

Things I hate:

I've been here 4 years so it's tedious
customers can be real assholes and I've been cussed at from time to time
Nobody trusts car dealerships so I have to overcome that a lot
no room for advancement

my last day was yesterday. i have no job anymore.

i really like the industry and the fact that you never know what to expect. i liked having my leadership and orginizational skills tested to the extreme. i liked running into the odd celebrity or professional athelete. i like trucks and planes and fuel. i love the constant noise that surrounds you. i like turning out a 757 or 767 in the winter and feeling the warmth of the jet blast on my back. i liked assembling 14 saudi arabian ambulances in one room and rocking all the sirens full blast for 2 straight minutes. i liked the tips, the people and environment.

i don't like supporting the wages of people that aren't insignificant to the continued success of a failing enterprise.

i don't like managers who don't really have a clue about the industry and are just trying to get thru the day without doing any real work.

^if the above had been corrected everything else would have worked out the way it should for those that remain.

dislike:
-when people say, "are you new here? i haven't seen you before," when i've had long conversations with them over the TWO YEARS i've been working there
-when my boss doesn't listen to me about what we should do - which is frustrating because i'm there all the time and he isn't
-when parents let their tardatee kids roam the place and ignore them while trying to keep MY attention as their offspring are using their goddamn wheelies to terrorize the supplements
-it gets so boring because i've gotten so used to it/good at it

love:
-when a good customer raves about how much he/she loves the store and having us around
-when someone thanks me sincerely for helping him/her out with supplements and saying something like "you've been very helpful" or "you're so knowledgeable"
-i'm good at my job and i've learned so much there that i'm easily marketable to other places
-i know that i'm valued by my bosses, even if they don't always show it
-flexible hours, they're very understanding and willing to give me what days off i request
-these people are like a second family to me

man, i'm gonna miss it. :(
