I was never a big fan but I'm one of the 20 million people or whatever who own the first version. I think she spoke to a populace of angry young women when the mainstream wasn't doing that. But I fail to see why Starbucks is pushing a remake now.

Documad, I remember her days on YOU CANT DO THAT ON TELEVISION. I hated her then, then Jagged Little Pill made me not hate her, then she continued to make music.....

I hate her because when Jagged Little Pill first came out I got it and loved it. One day I brought it to school so I could listen to it in study hall. The popular kids asked if they could listen to it and I said yes. They decided it sucked just because I liked it. Then a few months later "Ironic" came out and everyone of those kids suddenly loved her. And when I mentioned that they said she sucked when I first played her CD for them, they denied and just said I was looking for attention. Fucking popular kids. :mad:

I like Ryan too. He's so funny. I was really confused and surprised to find out they were engaged; just seems like a random couple.
I was never an Alanis fan either. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. But I feel bad saying negative stuff about her because she seems like a nice person.

I know. Jabumbo and I were just talking about the weird kind of shit that the kids in our high schools would eat, and I thought "hey, those dumbass jocks and homecoming queen types will all be really fat in a few years because all they ever ate was greasy pizza and french fries drenched in a greasy cheese sauce. And I will be hot because I ate REAL food." :D

Plus I have better taste in music. :cool:
