I know its been said by both mca and mike d that adrock came up with most of the beats in hello nasty, including the intergalactic one. I wonder what percentage of hello nasty is of adrocks beats? Id say at least 70 or 80%. Beats of his id guess would be #'s on the album (1,2,5,6,7,9,13,16,17,19). What would be your guess? How could one man come up with so many 'nasty' beats!?
Adrock is truly the man!

^^^I swear I was gonna say that! When I first read the title I was all like "Adrock has a baby!!!" But I've heard before that he came up with most of the beats, I'm not sure though. If so, damn he's good! (y)

sp12 was his instrument of choice i believe, and i do think he did alot of the beats on that, i believe he could have done so much... he always seems to want to make music more than the others, so im sure he could have pumped a new jam out every so often and then they decided to rap over it... i kno negotiation limerick file was mario c's though... but thats abotu all i know :(

I think adrock made so many beats that he took some of them and worked on the bs2000 thing. He's probably got 1,000 tapes laying around, no one has heard before.
And NO i dont have a man-crush on him, I just respect all he's done. Especially with Hello nasty, because it was way diffrent than Ill communication. It seems like after IC, everything was scrapped and they started with brand new material. Can you think of one rap song on hello nasty that sounds sorta like IC material? maybe putting shame in your game, but not really

Definitely HN doesnt sound like IC. I think HN has some similar points with PB. But yeah, AdRock kicks ass! He had more participation in the album than Yauch and D. And I heard that in "Sneaking Out The Hospital" he played all the instruments. Damn, hes good! (like Chicka B had already said before).

Yeah, I remember when some reporter flat out asked him that and he was like "I did make some beats, but we all worked on the album"...how modest. He's a better one than me, but then again who isn't? People may not take him seriously because of the way he acts or the things he says, but he is really very talented and a great muscian and a seemingly good person as well.
P.S. That was hilarious when that dude responded "NO" in all caps to the man-crush question. It cracked me up for some reason.
Just letting it be known that the "NO" comment was without any, none, zilch, hint of sarcasm what so ever

I do.
27 yrs old, father of 2, happily married.
If I weren't so secure in my manhood I'd be deeply frightened by it. When I saw them once in 99, I realized like half way through that I was only watching Adrock.

Can the same be said about HN to TT5B? What sounds like "nasty" on the "new" album?

Hello Nasty has a lotta of influences. Electronic Music, Bossa Nova, Dub Reggae, etc. To The Five Boroughs is pure hip hop. But I think Three MC's and One DJ sounds like a TTFB song.
