Haven't been here for some time, been on the road...
Here's a new So Whatcha' Want Remix (http://www.liquidsoul.com/sowhatchawant.mp3)

And, here's an older Negotiation Limerick Remix (http://www.liquidsoul.com/limerick.mp3) for those that have never heard it

I played all of the bass, guitar and synths, and scratched as well.

Enjoy

Yeah, I still like the Negotiation as well. :D

On So Whatcha' Want I added more changes, a little bit more musical, not so repetitive.

Thanks for the comments, more on the way.

I love this shit. Espacially cause it's self-played.

Yeah, I was (still am) with Liquid Soul but I'm a new dad so they got a back up DJ. I still do gigs and record with them.

As for getting the bass & guitar into the computer...All you need is a good soundcard with at least RCA inputs, 1/4" are preffered. I plug the instruments into a ton of stuff, effects, amps, then to the soundcard.

Yo, I think I caught your crew up in Grand Rapids Michigan a couple of years ago. Does the night club Billy's ring a bell and are you one of the two guys that me and my friend Laura took out to Dennys after your show? We then proceeded to her basement to spin records and I seem to remember you really dug some house music I was spinning. Word up and I like your remix.

Yeah! Billy's is a cool little club...You probably hung out with the MC at the time (Mr. Greenweedz who's also with "All Natural") and the other DJ Eddie Mills...

He's into spinning and house music (really good DJ too), I'm more of a turntablist and into instruments/producing

P.S.
I remember Grand Rapids had a great hot dog...damn close to Chicago's! (y)

What sort of soundcard do you use? I'm into recording guitar and the like aswell but the quality is always disorted when I plug my guitar into my soundcard. What kind of soundcard would you recommend? Cheers

BRMANUK: Here's something close to my soundcard...mine is a little older version of this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=rec/search/detail/base_pid/240390/

You're probably recording your guitar too loud on the input of the PC. Check all of your levels, Record & Playback. Don't let it touch red in the meters.

NYGEL: Nice work...weird, sounds like it should be in a movie, maybe Royal Tennenbaums. Cool feel, good late night listening.

Technics 1200, I've had them since '85 and they just keep on going. The Numark TTXseries (I forgot which one) is supposed to be really good as well.
