View Full Version : I'm Moving To My New Apartment On Saturday!!

So, I have a place. It's a three bedroom apartment with hardwood floors and it's in an old cottage-like house. The walls are white and the molding is PINK! I'm in love with it!
Around one corner from the house is main street, where there is a hip little bar, shopping, the police station, and all kinds of stuff. Aiedyn's school will be right down the street, along with the college where we feed the ducks. It's also right near the Interstate, which will take me to the main shopping area in this town within five minutes (versus the twenty I've been driving living here in bumfuck). Around the other corner is a park.
The only downside about the neighborhood is the house next door. In my town, it's funny. The upper class houses are mixed in with houses turned into very cheap apartments, which sometimes house the "crack happy", and it's been rumored that crack heads live next to my place, but...they keep to themselves and as I stated earlier, the po-po are right there.
I'm so excited!!!

Freebasser, as soon as you get your passport and fly down. You'll have to crash in Aiedyn's playroom, though. It will have a PLAYSTATION!!

It's all about Saturday the 16th. Maybe there will be a U-Haul parade.

the key is to have the party before you have any furniture...they way nothing can really get messed up...just bring in some lawn chairs. ;)

Ciao- that's briliant! But that won't happen, since Gray will be moving me and there will be no power until the day I move in. :( But perhaps later when the wine glasses are unpacked. ;)
Kll- Spank you, baby. And spank you some more. In fact, spank you so much my hand leaves red prints on your fine bootay.

Good luck with the move, Bitcha.
A word about living next to crackheads:
When Mr.peachy and I bought our house 7 years ago, what we didn't know is that all of the local junkies used our front stoop as a)a place to kind of hang out and b)a way to vault over the fence into the vacant lot next door, to go through the hole at the back, and into what it turned out was the local crack house on the block behind us.
Well, randomly opening the front door and letting my two big dogs barrel out at full speed put a fairly quick end to the hanging out on the stoop, but they still used the steps. So when I'd run into 'the regulars', I took to looking them in the eye, giving them a great big sunny smile, and saying "Good morning!" (Substitute 'evening' or 'afternoon' as needed.)
The point being, I wanted them to know that I can recognise every single one of them on sight, and if anybody fucks with me or my property, I know exactly who I am looking for.
But anyway, that building's since been renovated and is luxury condos now :)

Thanks, peoples!! :D
Peachy: I wish I could bring my dog, but I can't.
I have been waving at the neighbors when I catch them staring. They like to watch me carry boxes. The freaks. I just don't want them to get the wrong idea, and if they are cracktackulous, I don't want to be on their bad side either.
