Everyone's got to have some movies that they'll always like no matter what. My guess is that most people have at least ten of them... and lists usually are some sort of top ten deal, so I'm just goin' with the flow. Here are my top ten in order. No hatin' on other people's choices, just post your list and let suckers know what's up.

Maybe we'll spread some sort of knowledge and get people all sorts of interested in other stuff. Plus, in some weird way, this will allow y'all to get to know some people a little bit better... in a weird sort of way. Anyway, here are mine:

1. Back to the Future
2. Short Circuit
3. Goodfellas
4. Halloween
5. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
6. Pulp Fiction
7. When Harry Met Sally
8. T2: Judgment Day
9. The Godfather
10. The Notebook

Of course, this list is subject to change at any given moment... and this is only the stuff I could think of off the top of my head. I suppose if I had to actually sit down and really think about it for a while, my list might look a little bit different, but I guarantee you the top two wouldn't change at all.

And, yeah, maybe this has been done before. But I don't care... my topic is awesome so you should post in it. Bitch.

Amelie - just perfect.

Fight Club - "You are not your car keys. You are not the contents of your wallet. You're the all singing, all dancing crack at the world." Some people think that this is a film about violence. If you think that you haven't really watched it.

Groundhog Day - a beautiful buddhist allegory.

As Good As It Gets - "How do you write women so well" "I think of a man and then take away all reason and accountability" :D

The Matrix - Would I love this film so much if I didn't see it in New England? Not sure.

Dark City - I'm trying to get to Shell Beach too.

The Postman - a film close to my heart.

Planet of the Apes (original) - I love the ape village. I want to live in a place like that. Apart from stunning scenery and cool visuals an allegory for animal rights.

Day of the Dead - by far the most, sinister, claustrophobic, frightening and gross of the excellent zombie genre. I can't wait for Land of The Dead.

I feel there should be a Woody Allen film here but I can't choose - Annie Hall, The Sleeper, Bananas, Take The Money and Run, Stardust Memories....

I know most people on here who saw it thought it sucked, but I really liked it. It wasn't Romero's best, but it was still good. Especially compared to, say, Dawn of the Dead '04.
