Personally, I think it's a little of both.

And yes, this poll is Echewta friendly.

I think he's a genius. And rotten to the core.

This is more likely the truth. The man has made Liberals crazy, but he's probably more Nixonian than I'd like.

Still, as long as he's never CONVICTED (heavy sarcasm) of anything, history will be his judge... :)

BTW, isn't that poll just a little biased? Just asking....

Well of course! :D

Good for you, standing up for your biased poll!

Seriously, what do you think about how he's gotten Bush elected twice and seems to always be one step ahead of the Liberals nowadays?

I think if there is a Satan, he is shining Karl Rove's shoes as we speak...

A little levity never hurts but sometimes is misinterpreted...

D_Raay : come on now, you're better than that. I haven't even helped you a little bit to see that reasoned discourse is more empowering than blatant sarcasm?

I'd say a bit of both, too. I wonder who'll get scapegoated, this time.

Are you referring to the London bombings? Elucidate please.

For my shining example of a point of view, see the below :

"When the Middle East grows in democracy and prosperity and HOPE, the terrorists will lose their sponsors."

no, we are referring to Karl Rove possibley being the leak on the CIA undercover outing...

If I leaked classified information when I was in the Air Force, I would be convicted to life in jail.

If they convict him, he'll get fired with a nice seperation package....ugh

you think they'd get away with that?

i guess it would depend on how much media attention it gets...and what the public sentiment is...

or how much Bush has appreciated his puppeteering

Twasn't blatant... it was humor at the expense of an individual who has enraged the left.

Corrupt as HELL. Watch the documentary "Bush's Brain" and you'll see what I mean.

He's not incompetent, he just slipped up, which is shocking.

Do we know for sure that he did it?

If so, I think the shocking thing is that he thinks he is so powerful -- so untouchable -- that he can do anything he wants. And he just might be right.

You mean, he just may be right in thinking he can do whatever he wants. You need to clarify that last sentence. ;) In that case, yeah. Who's to stop him?

His proven ability to juggle and manipulate forces in the political arena for so long makes it almost inconceivable that he could make such an error publicly. However, that is not to say that he actually didn't make such an error. Still, without knowing whether or not he is responsible for the slip, I think that he will never be caught and/or properly punished if is. I think that things will get very diluted and obscure very quickly if that path is pursued too far.

I think Documad meant Rove "might be right" in thinking that his own amount of power and untouchability would allow him to do whatever he wants.

Yes, sorry. I think that it's scary that he has the audacity to do this (if he did). He obviously thinks he's above the law and can do whatever he wants. Even commit treason.

And I'm afraid that maybe he will get away with it. Because really, who cares other than some reporters and some liberals on a message board.

Did you hear that Brad Pitt has the flu? That's the headline on my internet provider. I couldn't find the link to the Rove story on its front page.

But isn't this huuuuge slip up a sign of incompetency on his part?

It COULD be a huge slip-up or it may end up being nothing at all.

The jury's still out....

Alright...alleged huuuuuuge slip-up.
