I've said a lot of dumb shit in the past that I probably shouldn't have, but still I don't think I'd react like this if I was him. I don't know, it really wasn't a big deal or anything at all, I just got a little angry when his reaction wasn't exactly what I was hoping for.

it was a genuine comment from me, i can tell KOR has maybe grown a bit since he did nothing more than wait for the oppertunity to cut someone down a peg.

lopp is obviously being lame about it, as was KOR when people would ask him to lay off of other people or subjects about those people.

They are private for a reason.
I agree. I don't think PMs should be posted/redistributed without permission from the author. Same goes for email/chat sessions.

you can never "expect" any reactions in this place, they can come out of simply nowhere. my advise to you is "expect" to be surprised daily on the internet...no rules equals no demands and many surprises.

I think what we need here is some excercise in the use of "I" language, meaning don't blame people and say "you" do this or that.

Say;

"When you (list a specific action the other person does)
I feel (describe your feelings using only adjectives)
because (explain what you think when the person does the action, and the connection between the action and your feelings)."

Just try that sentence structure to express what's on your mind.

Example: When you make jokes about my mother I feel hurt because I think you don't care about my feelings.

LOL....I really think KOR needs some therapy. I think the real tragedy here is that he cares so damn much about what I say or think about him or his mother. I'm usually on Walt's side on things, but in this case, if he didn't know your mother had died, how was he to know it would affect you so much? Both my parents passed away when I was very young, but if someone would say something like "When I was fucking your mum last night..." or "Your dad is this or that..." I realised that they didn't know the situation and were just joking and did not mean to target a particular soft emotional spot. What marsdaddywhatsisface is saying is true.
