Despite the fact that the name is French, this is like the holy mecca of cooking stores. I spent an hour in there earlier looking around. It looked like it was my first time in the outside world, but it was fun.

Ha! I love kitchen appliances, but I have to keep reminding myself that I rarely cook and I have very little storage space.

A couple of them, a long time ago. Don't bring your checkbook or credit cards. They will bleed you dry! They usually make some pretty good food though. :)

The white cutting boards are the best deal. I have a couple of little "bar boards" that I just love. They're about 4 x 6 and great for cutting up an apple or something. I have several. Not like you couldn't buy one elsewhere, but I think they're neat and they were cheap. So if you feel compelled to buy something, that's an idea. ;) A lot of the stuff is just Zyliss, which you can buy anywhere. I already had the cheese things like they use at Olive Garden and the one-handed pepper grinder.

Most people get sucked into the ice cream scoop which is supposed to take the heat from your hand and make it easier to scoop out ice cream. I think it's pretty silly. But that's another relatively cheap pity purchase.

and yummmmy the "cool veggie pizza" is so delicious!!!!! yum yum

and documad...i fell for the ice cream scoop (but not from pampered chef) from tupperware :o god-damn domesticated bitches in my neighborhood invite me to these parties and i can't say NO! :(
