the new guru album is the shit

this might be one of the best hiphop records of the year. it is really good. false prophets and don status are favorites. check it out.

drawback: there's a lot of '03 sounding sped up vocal samples on it though, not all of them work.

I don't know....listening to Guru without Primo is kinda like watching porn for the storylines or lifting weights for the fun of it or drinking non-alcoholic beer...

I've only heard one track, Cave In. it's aiight. I've read a pretty mixed bag of reviews on the album, so I don't know whether I should go wasting time downloading more tracks. I also heard that GStarr is finished -- which would be a shame if that was true, considering Primo's beat on the new AZ single (dope).
