There's legalised prostitution here, to an extent (at certain times), and only in red light districts & brothels etc. So most of them aren't actually criminals here.

I've always been able spot it from a mile away though. And I'm very (probably ~too~) picky. The rare times that I do want to pursue a relationship for more than a few weeks, she's already passed my screening process (sounds horrible but, I don't know another word for it). I feel bad for the young dudes though who are usually 18 and right out of high school and are "in love", you can't talk any sense into them. ESPECIALLY when hella people are telling them "She tried that with him, him, him, him and him".
