Y'know, I've always heard about how awesome it is to kiss in the rain and so forth. To me, it always struck me as a tad overrated. I mean, you're soaking wet outside, I hate being out in the rain and risking hypothermia enough as it is. So why would I want kiss in the rain when I could do that indoors?

Well, anyways... now that I actually just experienced it tonight, all I gotta say is... WOW! Kissing in the rain IS awesome. Believe the hype, ladies and gentleman. I take it all back. It's hot. If you haven't done it yet, try it out next time it rains. If you live in the desert, just start kissing when you have the sprinkler on. ;)

Nah though, true to that, I prefer the rain over a sunny day. Something about the rain and storms seems to ease my thoughts and kissing in it is the greatest.

My ex and I used to stand under our gutter drains of our house and shower in the rainstorms. Try that once (y)

it is pretty nice. I remember once it suddenly started raining, and at the time the guy I was dating (now my ex, from my first year in college) used his jacket as an umbrella for us. He gave me a deep kiss, and we kept kissing to the point that he forgot about the rain and lowered his jacket. We kept going, getting soaked by the rain. Of course, we didn't care.

Veiled bragging and you know it. It's cool though I know what it's like to want to talk about stuff you did that was exciting and no one else cares because it has nothing to do with them. Unless you give us pictures of this girl and other detailed information, this discussion is no fun for people who don't get satisfaction simply from the warm, cuddly, endorphin releasing sensation they get for carebearing someone and congratulating them on not being a total social reject. (on the flip side, you can get congratulated on being just that - example being Turd's mall fiasco) I 69ed in a jeep once, while it was raining outside. It's one of the few true memories I have that sound like I'm making it up, even to me, when I say it. So now we've shared stories I guess. Duck pants would be good in these situations, when it's wet out.

Did I shock your fragile worldview with some happiness in your cynical message board segments of your lives? :rolleyes: The overwhelming motivation was for discussing "kissing in the rain" since I genuinely thought that was a dumb idea when thinking of it, but when you actually do it, it turned out FAR different (and better) than I originally envisioned.

All I really have to say is that I'm happy this relationship is NOT a "board couple." No offense to any of the board couplers, but I'm liking the whole flesh and blood aspect of it all. And the words of an infantile 15-year-old from Australia really have no relevance to my real life in Canada whatsoever.

But hey, mickill always gives me a good laugh. He's great at what he does, I gotta say. :D

Remember me discussing Safewalk a few months back? We met because we're both involved in Safewalk (if you don't remember, it's a service on our campus where co-ed teams walk students from campus to their cars or homes safely when it's late at night). We did a bunch of shifts together, and the more we saw each other, the more we liked each other. It turned out we dug a lot of the same movies and the same music and a real chemistry developed between us. Before we knew it, we started dating and it's been going wonderful so far. I really hope it develops into something long-term.

Safewalk gets dubbed "The Campus Dating Service" because so many people end up going out through it. Turns out the reputation is justified. :)

...or maybe it's cuz I live next to DC so I get this disgusting, sticky, dirty, acid rain that pours down and makes all the neighborhoods smell like funk. I think even if it was clean water, I wouldn't like it. I hate wearing wet clothes so much, so my thoughts are more on 'lets get the fuck inside so my jeans don't soak through and start chafing my crotch.'

Anyways, I stand by my statement that making out in the rain is gross. DC rain is so nasty, especially during pollen season.

I'd say the best is outside, at night, during the beginning of summer because the weather's beautiful and there's a spark in the air. I've always wanted to makeout on the beach at night, too. Cliche, but I bet it's still awesome.
