Movies? Humbug; they're nothing but impractical escapism.
I'd rather listen to Erasure anyway.

I enjoyed the Straight Story and the most recent crazy LA one, but otherwise I couldn't agree more.
I used to be the biggest movie fan but I still have a very difficult time explaining what pisses me off about movies I dislike. Most of the time, I dislike being arty for the sake of being arty and I usually dislike tricks (even though a lot of my favorite movies have them).

Yes, but you are the most ignorant, tunnel-minded person I've ever heard about so nobody cares what you think. (y)

I own this thing on DVD. Straight from Lynch's site. 60 bucks, but well worth it.
This is his best film, in my opinion. I don't care for most of his work, but this film is very well made and very important for cinema. I thought the film Begotten was the most strangest thing I ever saw, but this film is definitely the most bizarre film ever.
Highly recommended, but only for serious film viewers.
whoa...I thought Lynch said he was never going to release it on dvd. Howd you manage that?
