it is time for me to quit drinking as of yesterday i was told by friends they think i have a drinking problem, which i don't think i do. so today i woke up thought about what they said drinking from a bottle of jose cuervo and realized they may be right but then again they may be wrong. my best friend tells me i'm always awesome when i drink and everyone likes that but my other friends think i need to stop i will tell everyone what i decide to do later as of now cuervo needs me.

If your friends are confronting you about what they think might be a drinking problem, then maybe you might want to think about it more seriously. They aren't doing it to be dicks or anything... they honestly care about you and give a shit.

Sit down and talk with them and listen to their concerns and feel free to express your opinion(s) on the entire situation. I'd make sure this stuff gets taken care of so your friends don't think you're just being an idiot and so you don't feel betratyed by a group of people you might be close with.

That's just me though.

The people who always seem to proclaim that someone has a problem are the same people who go out that same night and get trashed. But, they are alright. Just find other people to drink with

But seriously, if you are fucking up relationships, jobs, finances, or other important aspects of life from drinking, take a step back and try to set the goal to slow down. its hard when you are on a role but you can do it. (y)

Question your best friend's judgement and motives. I've seen people who are fucked up and need other people to be fucked up too in order to relate. People like that manipulate, they need some to support them in their fucked-upness or they just get kicks watching you do stupid shit as if you are there for their entertainment. They don't give a damn what you are doing to yourself - ruining your liver, humiliating yourself, spending all your money, getting broke, spending your days with constant hangovers. Often people can live vicariously through you - getting you to do the stuff they are too scared to. This person may not be a friend at all.
