I've recently got into these and now have 5 albums of them. Does anyone know if they are still together or better yet even tour. Their website has never been updated and not much info at all but they are the greatest band I've heard since first hearing the beasties...
I'm guessing this'd be the sort of place I'd probably find other fans. But if you've never heard of them, check 'em out...

Normally I don't walk into threads about bands I don't care for, but Cherry Poppin' Daddies is a very special exception. ;)
"Zoot Suit Riot"? Oh man....
If you're into that whole swing revival thing, go with Royal Crown Revue or Brian Setzer Orchestra. Something like that. Plus the guys were a ska band before they had their one-hit wonder. It was just to cash in on the very brief swing craze once the ska boom of the '90s started fizzling out.

i didn't know they had a one hit wonder; I heard Irish whiskey which is kinda punky-ska-swing and got more of them...
If someone recommended swing to me I would of gone straight past it...
checks ya links.

Research tells me that: They formed in 89, yet nobody gave a pint of donkey piss about them until 1997.
Verdict: Just another dipshit new band that jumps into trends and steals old ideas. Cunts.
