...full of empty wine and beer bottles.
We had a party yesterday and some of our friends decided they'd rather just nick the whole cart rather than carry the stuff they'd bought.
It will come in handy for wheeling all these empties to the recycling bins, at least.
The guy that stole/brought it (coincidentally, named Nick - or maybe not so coincidentally at all, now I think about it) is having a party next month. I think we need to take it to his, but I dunno how we're going to make that work, as they live clear across London and I don't reckon I can take this thing on the Tube...

Oh man! You should hop in that bugger and have someone push you. My best friend likes to do that all the time. One time we were screwin around and nicked a car and I was all, ok lady THAT'S IT!
Hey at least the cart is there from normal citizens going about their business of partying and goofin off. :D
In my hood, it's kinda ghetto and my neighbor does this all the time! Like seriously. I'm getting so sick and tired of seeing shopping carts on the street corner. Seriously.

When I read the thread title, I thought, someone had a good time last night. :)
And for getting the cart across London, maybe just just diguise yourself as homeless & ferry it around that way.

Yeah I had to think a moment about what 'nicked' a 'trolley' meant!
...in my post I said we 'nicked' a car. We didn't steal it! (!) We hit it ever so slightly and left a tiny mark in the paint. :o

If you lived here you would be guilty of a crime.

In places wher I've lived and worked, if you just call the market and say "one of your carts is in our street" or whatever, some enterprisng younf men in a pickup truck usually swing around and get it, no questions asked. (y)
