Bruce Campbell this weekend. Granted, it lasted a minute while he signed my copy of "Make Love!* *the Bruce Campbell Way" but still. It rocked. Of course I forgot my digital camera and had to use my boyfriends 2 year old disposable non-flash camera to take pictures (so who knows if they will come out). But at least I will always have the memories...

Me being sick happened to come up since so many people mentioned to him how they saw him at Comic-con (which I was supposed to be at). He then said "now you are the picture of health!"

Yeah it's retarded but it made me smile. I was all giddy after.

Also, I didn't realize I could have brought something else for him to sign. Damn it.

the rules were super strict for this book signing. Basically: "He will sign what he wants in your book, no requests. Pictures will only be taken by one of the employees for you while your book is signed, or you can take some while you are in line" etc.

I wish I could have had him do the outgoing message on my phone. :(

I guess I could have never met him at all. So I suppose I should be grateful regardless, which I am.

I even was looking at my book like "hey, he touched this..."

I am such a fanboy  errr, girl. :o

I just decided not to like you so much.

I'd take the Campbell over the Romero anyday, dammit.

you are joking, right? (http://www.bruce-campbell.com/)

then again, he is a B-movie star. Guess not everyone would be aware of him.

Oh come on, you had planned this for a while. It didn't just "happen".

And there's nothing wrong with that.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

damn right :p

p.s. he was at Comic-con on Thursday, then Saturday he was at a special screening of "Man with the Screaming Brain" at a local movie theater and well of course, I was feeling much too sick for those things. I was so mad. I still have Sunday though! VIVA LA SUNDAY!

What did you dress up as this year?

beastieangel01

nothing. I was/am too poor to adjust my prior costume and/or too poor to make a new one.

Bummer to that then.

Did you happen to see Matt Groening talk about the Futurama movie?

No. I stayed for a few hours on Saturday only to browse since I wasn't feeling well.

I didn't see any speakers or things like that. I just looked at nerdy things and got some freebies. And bought a rocking Aqua Teen Poster that has the same image on it as this shirt (http://www.80stees.com/images/products/Aqua_Teen_Zombies_t-shirt.jpg).

I hope you're feeling better.

thanks. I am at least able to function at this point. Although they still do not know what is wrong with me. First they thought strep, then tonsillitis, now, no idea. All my test results came back negative. So now if I am still feeling sick by this Thursday I have to go back.

If I knew it would cost me over 60 bucks for them to tell me nothing and pretty much DO nothing (only the painkillers helped me really), I wouldn't have gone. I have leftover vicodin at home.

C'est La Vie, I guess :)

I can tell you nothing too if you send me money.

Anyway, Bruce Campbell. I still can't get his Make Love... book over here :(

why not?!

if it comes down to it, I am willing to ship it over to you. Of course, I can't offer to pay for it all without you paying me back (since I'm a broke ho), but I'd do that favor if you really want it. :)

I wish I knew why. It was never a problem getting If Chins Could Kill, although I'm not sure how long after it was published that I ordered it.

I'll keep you posted, but I think it's bound to come out here sooner or later.
You're sending me the autographed one, right?

I've corresponded with him a few times via e-mail. After the Marlins beat the Yankees in the '03 World Series, he said 'Honestly, I danced a jig'

That being said, your story is quite possibly the best story of all-time in the history of all-time, you lucky sonofahooligan.
