Maybe the NBA really did institute the 3 point line to give white people a fair shake. Think about it.
Larry Bird was a forward, but he's known for his threes. Same with Dirk.
Steve Nash can take it to the hoop, but he's a damn fine shooter.
Brent Barry. Enough said.
And the list goes on. Kevin McHale was the last true white man to dominate inside. Not exactly a three point shooter if you ask me.

Not necessarily true, because through most of the 80's the paint was dominated by a bunch of slow moving, defensive oriented, larger that life white guys.
Mark Eaton, Kevin McHale, Tom Chambers (who is possibly one of the most underrated players of the 80's),
Plus if you look, the top 10 career leaders in all time 3 pointers made are Dan Majerle and a bunch of black guys...
Player 3FGM
Reggie Miller 2,464
Dale Ellis 1,719
Glen Rice 1,559
Tim Hardaway 1,542
Nick Van Exel 1,373
Dan Majerle 1,360
Mitch Richmond 1,326
Terry Porter 1,297
Mookie Blaylock 1,283
Ray Allen 1,277

Undercover Brother I just listed that in the underated movies thread, such a great movie on so many levels. I damned near woke the dead when I saw the part where Denise Richards said something like "I saw this great turtle neck at Eddie Bauer". The reason I laughed: I work at a muthalovin Eddie BAuer, not exactlly "ghetto/urban" clothes I say.
But he 3point line hmmmmm really dont think its working too well then if so many brothas lead the liust in 3fgm. Craig Hodges was a monster at them suckas (y)

The three point line was invented just to give a little extra weight between items so all the stories in the newspaper wouldn't just seem to run together. Race has nothing to do with it.
