I've been sick the past two days and had like 101.2 Fahrenheit temp most of the day. That's pretty high for me cus I usually have like 96.7. I think one time on my 8th grade trip to DC I hit like 103 and those bastards wouldn't even let me stay back at the hotel. I had to go on all the trips with my class. I just sat in the back of the bus shivering. How's bout you all?

I've been on the board way to long and never remember anyone doing a thread like this. (y)

Actually having a high fever isn't necessarily a bad thing...your bodie's trying to fight off the virus. Just take something to break the fever. However, if it gets over a 104...you need to go to the doctor. Anyway, I'm pretty sure you already know this.

Last month I got sick and had a temperature of 103. When my fever would break...I'd wake up soaked in sweat. It was miserable. Then, several hours later, the fever would come right back.

103 is dangerous for adults, but not so much for infants.

I can't remember a temp of over 102 for me.

Your normal of 96.7 is almost 2 below normal. I wonder if your thermometer is broken, or if you really are part lizard?

*checks for lizard tail* Umm no I don't think that's that weird. A few years back I bought this sweet talking thermometer so I was obsessed with taking my temperature (insert butt jokes here) for like a 2 weeks and for the most part I was always right around that.

when i had peritonitis, i think my temperature was above 105, or something.
i'm not sure, because we have celsius here, not fahrenheit

I haven't had the flu since I was real young. However, I remember it vividly and it was one of the worst times I've ever felt.

MIne was bad, no nausea or vomiting. Just sore throat, really bad lungs and cough (thought I might have bronchitis for awhile), extremely fatigued, blocked sinuses, not hungry, bad color e.t.c. I had it for 2 WEEKS. I caught in the plane comeing back from Europe so i had that along with jet lag. Plus I had to go back to work. I tried calling in sick but my dickhead manager was all like "Oh you just were on vacatin for 2 weeks maybe you shuold come in anyways." Me being the spineless twit I was back then, I went in. Fell asleep at work one night because I was so sick, and then got in big trouble for it!

I felt like I was never gonna get better it sucked.

See, my manager and I would have a real problem if I was that sick and he essentially made me come into work anyway. I mean, that's ridiculous. Not only are you ill, but could spead it to other people too.

Last year I had something tough happen to me that affected me physically and mentally and my supervisor at the time was so supportive and understanding. Like, the people on my team at work donated their sick days, so that I could still get paid during my leave. I mean, I took almost a month off. Everyone was really great to me. I was lucky, but there's some real asses out there.

Well you're lucky. My manager has had something against me for a long time and has turned a lot of people here against me, so I get shit on by the majority of everyone here. Took him a long time, but it's finally starting ot work, that fucker.

I wanna come and work with you ;)

Oh, I don't work there anymore. But, I was real lucky to get the cool supervisor. The majority of them were known for being dicks.

A friend of mine had a fever of 106 once. She said that she saw this giant black shadowy thing coming out of a vent in her ceiling and for the rest of her life she swore that was death coming for her. :(

When I was a little Thomas I had 42 C for a few days. That seems to translate into 107.6 F.

I think I was about 4 years old, I sort of remember being in a hospital, but mostly it's just things my parents have told me. No idea what was wrong, high fever maybe? :p
