I just had some Sudafed (spelling?) for my mega allergy-congestion attack I am having (and have had since yesterday). I went to the store this morning and was going to get DayQuil since I have other symptoms but they had this little cards to take to the pharmacy to buy them since some medications include an ingredient that makes illegal drugs... and the pharmacy wasn't open yet and I was already late for work.
Anyways, Sudafed, then I took a pain killer to help with the other symptoms (perscription Ibuprofen 600mg).
Now I am going to drink lots of coffee to help counter the drowsy effects of the two medications.
I must be destroying something in my body at this point, I'm sure.

i stopped taking sudafed in favor of a nasal spray. it cleans out your nasal passages, and doesnt give you the wacky side effects

nasal sprays scare me. I feel like it will further irritate my nose and make me sneeze more or something. The idea of things going up my nose just freaks me out in general.

For some reason, and this is completely irrational, but I always fear that the drug companies put cocaine or something in the spray. Freaks me out too.

I might use them if there were cocaine in it.

My grandfather once told me never to use nasal sprays, as it's easy to get addicted (he took a hit, right after he told me that.)
I don't think mixing the drugs is a good idea. Maybe talk to the pharmacist or decide which of your symptoms are worse and treat those first.
Sudafed drys my sinuses out, which is good, but dehydrates me, which is bad. Also the Sudafed non-drowsy has speed in it, or something. Gives me the shakes.

Those pharmacists are good people. My doctor prescribed me something one time that would've conflicted with another one of my pills (i.e. I'd probably be dead). They caught it and he prescribed something else.
Kinda unsettling though that he prescribed me my deathbed, but he's a nice guy.

the pharmacy was closed, so I couldn't ask nobody. I was left on my own, and had to get to work.
I also cannot miss my class tonight (straight after work until 10pm) nor work tomorrow morning and class in the afternoon right after otherwise I'm kicked from the classes :/
I need to meet someone that knows a pharmacist or something!

Maybe I would've gotten lucky and I would've met Johnny Cochran in the afterlife.
