Its nothing but, but its something. I dont know if anyone found it yet, but heres whatcha do to get some hidden audio:
At the main menu, select the "Schematic Overview" option. Press Right 5 times
and select the colour bars box, watch the colour bars and theres like, 5 seconds of hidden audio from the directors. :)

I just asked because it's a pretty well known egg. Now go look for the picture of Hornblower, it's much harder to find.

Here's how you find the picture:

To view a hidden photo of Switzerland's eccentric director Nathanial Hornblower follow these directions: first, from the main menu on the second disc, select the non-profit region of the DVD. Second, proceed to select and read through each of the four non-profit options. It is important that you read through all of the material in this area. Hornblower is very sly and has set the DVD Easter egg to appear only if each step in followed precisely. Now for the payoff: go back and choose the "Sabotage" music video from the "videos with supplements" menu listing. Once there, proceed to view the photos which were included with the other "Sabotage" supplements. If you have done everything correctly, an additional photo depicting Nathanial Hornblower will now be viewable among the other photos.

and someone else says "good job"
and then Yauch claps and laughs and then its over. :confused:

like i said, nothing much. but at least you get to hear that laugh :o

Okay, I'm hoping someone can help with this. On the Palm Pictures Spike Jonze disk, there are previews of each of the three (at the time) DVDs in the director's series. The preview for Spike's DVD shows a clip of Hornblower disrupting the presentation at the MTV music awards. I took from this that I should be able to find this on the DVD somewhere, but I can't. Is it an Easter egg? Is it on there somewhere obvious and I just haven't seen it? Thanks, yo.

I don't have the DVD with me now so I can't look it up, but I think it's on side B in the extras. There are previews of other Palm Pictures releases including each DVD in the director's series. The preview for Spike's DVD (yeah, a preview of a DVD on the very same DVD it's previewing) has highlights including a clip from the MTV music awards. So you would think that you'd be able to find that clip somewhere on the DVD.

On my dvd I have only previews for Adaptation, Chris Cunningham, Michel Gondry and Yeah Right.I don't have a preview for Spike's dvd :confused:

So I cant help you.

Ah, time for me again.

Go to "Commentaries and info" from the main menu. Then go to "Sabotage/Beastie Boys". Press the up arrow, then you'll see a number 2 next to the title. Press play.


Now go find the other 3 eggs on that DVD.

Jeepers! I feel so out of it! I never knew there were these 'easter eggs' or whatever. DUH! :o

I dont exactley know if thier "easter eggs" according to Toucan that must not be the politically correct term for it :confused:

but if you search DVD easter eggs on google, theres tons of sites that show you where to find the easter eggs on almost every single DVD.

Go to "Commentaries and info".
Select "More", then up arrow and left arrow.


Spike Jonze egg 3:

Go to "Commentaries and info".
Select "More".
Select "Weapon Of Choice/Fatboy Slim".
Select "Music video info", then left arrow.


Spike Jonze egg 4:

Turn DVD to side B.
Select "Rarities", then left arrow.

seriously dude, how is it well known... unless you spend your life on the computer looking up crap like that, how on earth would you find that easter egg... who presses right 5 times on a dvd??? just listen to the music and enjoy it, and dont be so condescending to people who think they have done something cool.... ass!!

Wow! I guess I got told there, didn't I?

Ok, here goes. I didn't say this a first since RaZoRbLaDe KiSs seemed so happy to have found it.

Easter eggs are things that are not available from any of the menus, and this Color Bars thing clearly is available, just like Song Credits which is right next to it. So this isn't really an easter egg, just an option further down on the menu.
