BBC News are reporting incidents at three tube stations and on one bus. No reports of any serious casualties.

At present it looks like the suspects were carrying dummy bombs in backpacks, they went bang, there was lots of smoke but that was it. It seems that a load of people on one of the tube trains were seen chasing a young skinny Asian guy (about 17 years old) from one of the stations. They don't know whether he was caught or not.

The backpacks appear to have been dummy nailbombs.

Armed police have just sealed off University College Hospital in London. Rumour is that one of the suspects is in there...

Looks like I picked a good day to work from home. :(

Can't get my husband on the phone, but I am assuming he is OK as he is not anywhere near any of the areas of incident. I reckon the mobile networks are jammed just like they were on the 7th. Still though, it would be awful nice to hear his voice right now.

Jeez, I hope he gets through to you soon, peach.

yeah thanks, he's fine, his team's p.a. just phoned to let me know he's in a design meeting but that they're all fine at the office and still planning on all going out tonight to their 'teambuidling' (i.e. eat pizza and drink beer) exercise.

Who knows. Just gotta take it day by day, really.

I talked to my mom a bit ago and she's all like "I can't understand how you can stand it! You should come home! Nothing ever happens in Michigan, you know!"

So I told her "Yeah I know, that's exactly why I don't want to live there."

Not to mention the fact that I'm not even from Michigan, in the first place.
