around the kids.....

ACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The state has suspended the licenses of two church-affiliated day care centers. (http://www.local6.com/news/4758288/detail.html)

Former director Joshua Palin is charged with molesting ten children, some of them during what investigators say were twisted games of Truth or Dare.

At the centers, children were allegedly sexually assaulted and forced to eat worms, pick each other's noses and smell each other's feet during employee-led games of "Truth or Dare."

Former director Joshua Palin is charged with molesting ten children, some of them during what investigators say were twisted games of Truth or Dare. He is the son of the affiliated church's pastor.

Palin was originally charged last month with molesting two girls. He's being held on bond.

Another day care center worker Tammy Sue Warren is free on bond on a charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition. A state report states that she lifted up her shirt during a game of Truth or Dare with the children.

And Claudia Foster is accused of making children eat worms, smell each other's feet and pick each other's noses during Truth or Dare.

But the state attorney's office says they won't prosecute Foster because the actions are not crimes.

how could you make such a generalization? Your just like everyone else...so stereotypical! I'm a religious person and I'm not a bad person. You should learn to respect people and realize not everyone is associated with the same things even if they do carry the same title! That was very imature and rude! Yes there are some people who are religous and have done some terrible things..but religous people also help others! so you have no right to make such a stereotypical generalization! (!) (!) the religious charity organisations i know of try to convert you as helping you. their reasoning is: you can't get help if you're not one of us!

No! Hey dudes, its really not. They will help anybody they can man, they are just trying to help you in more ways than one. By saving your soul and leading you back to christ so you will live in eternity with him.

"man cannot live on bread alone, but on every word that the lord teaches"

"and i shall dwell in the house of the lord happily for the rest of my days, amen"

They just want to help.
I do admit, some people use religion as an outlet to get away with stuff, but its not the religion that does it, its the person who just so happens to use the excuse. Most religious people have great morals and jut want to do their best to help you in your walk with Christ.
do not try to convince me otherwise, for i shall not be shaken in my faith man. I live for the lord dude, u shouldn't bring down religion, bring down the person that must cower behind it dude.

WildBaldMonkey

If the people who commited these crimes were a different religion, say Buddhist, Hindu, basically anyhting other than a Christian, the religion would'nt even be a factor.

Jesus never taught that molesting kids was o.k., but what He did say was "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Jesus also said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.

I think It's really disrespectful for people to drag Jesus name down like what I've seen in this thread. If you don't believe in Jesus at least have a little respect for people that do.

Actually, that was Hey-zeus, and he steals hubcaps from cars. But he's pretty close to the other Jesus.

This one guy named Jesus worked at Target, and for Halloween, he dressed up as Jesus with a thorny crown and everything, and was wearing his little "Hi! I'm Jesus" name tag. It was teh sweet.

My mom's family is Catholic, and that's the only church I've ever been to, so even if I was religious I would be deemed evil because for some reason in many parts of the state Catholics are on par with Satanists. It's because of the altar. We sacrifice people there ya know.

People often ask me if I have any words of advice for young people.
Well, here are a few simple admonitions for young and old:

Never intefere in a boy-and-girl fight.

Beware of whores who say they don't want money.

The hell they don't.
What they mean is they want more money.
Much more.

If you're doing business with a religious son-of-a-bitch,
Get it in writing.

His word isn't worth shit.

Not with the good lord telling him how to fuck you on the deal.

Sheesh where were you when God was handing out senses of humor?

"Now some of you may encounter the Devil's Bargain,
If you get that far.
Any old soul is worth saving,
At least to a priest,
But not every soul is worth buying
So you can take the offer as a compliment.
He tries the easy ones first.
You know like money,
All the money there is.
But who wants to be the richest guy in some cemetary?
Money won't buy.
Not much left to spend it on, eh gramps?
Getting too old to cut the mustard...

...Well they always try the easiest ones first.
How about an honorable bargain?
You always wanted to be a doctor,
Well now's your chance.
Why don't you become a great healer
And benefit humanity?
What's wrong with that?
Just about everything.
Just about everything.
There are no honorable bargains
Involving exchange
Of qualitative merchandise
Like souls
For quantitative merchandise
Like time and money.
So piss off Satan
And don't take me for dumber than I look.

An old junk pusher told me -
Watch whose money you pick up."

Google a quote every now and then, sometimes when you think people are being shitty, they're trying to avoid pandering to idiots and maybe (hopefully) to be funny, ironic or subtle.
-And if you're still pissed that I quoted Burroughs here, then dry your eyes princess, everybody's part asshole...
