It's funny, my brother would enjoy The Killers a lot. But then he'd occasionally "dis" them just because the hype was getting too huge.

Despite that, I had to constantly confiscate my copy of "Hot Fuss" from him ALL the time. :p

The Killers CD was probably my most embarrassing music purchase of the past two years. Maybe longer. I don't know what I was thinking. I was confused. There may have been drinking involved.

Anyway, I liked the CD when it first came out. Liked, mind you.

Then it exploded and overplayed. Really, they are fine, but they are NOTHING special, at all. Barely average (but okay enough that here and there I'd put it on previously). So the overplaying annoyed me and I don't think I've listend to them since. I hear it too much without playing it myself anyway.
