i just got back from colorado...i've never been there in the summer, so i got to go to many new places! i envy anyone who lives there. colorado is gorgeous. sorry so many pictures, i just couldn't choose.

mt. evans (highest paved road in america) then you walk only about .25 miles to 14,300 ft! and the views are amazing. but it started to get stormy, so we headed out.

saint mary's glacier, the hike was a bit much for a minnesotan. it was pretty rocky, and the elevation was a bit rough for us! :o

the cat and dog fight ALL the time (but they just play) i just happend to be there at the right time!

and yes the fish are under that bridge, but some guy was feeding them popcorn and they were going crazy over the different treat. i really don't like nebraska though (maybe since i drove through the ENTIRE state by myself with two kids). and the hotel i stayed in served me moldy cheese pizza. :mad: so i drank my dinner! OH another plus for nebraska...you can buy beer (not 3.2) from a gas station!!! (y)

but yes, for sure, the zoo is awesome! and the rainforest exibits are amazing! even aside from the animals, the waterfalls and plant materials were beautiful!

nope, i just flew through that state at a cool 85 mph!
there's another plus for the state...the speed limits on the interstates are like 75! (y)

i love rhinos!
they were so far away, and it was 96 degress and humid as hell. my tank top was wet from sweat (i was kinda embarrassed) but i had to make it to the rhinos!!! (y)
