And ironic it is that a company that has a long historical existence of parodying other corporate logos including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, the KISS logo and many others, should be challenging our right to parody them. (See the included links to see various examples).

'zactly, what i was going to say before i read it in the article. keep us posted on the developments of the 'lawsuit'. i rock stussy daily, with the awesome camo-leather wallet and belt beth got me for xmas; but i didn't realize they were such whiny corporate whores.

side note: do you say: "stoosy" or stUSsy?

Well, apparently they were bought by a "Christian" guy or family if I remember the story correctly. I believe they are bringing to court the argument that Freshjive promotes a drug culture etc. Hopefully the judge will not pay attention to that and realize Stussy is being frivolous. Its going to be that kind of fun apparently.

Yeah I used to see Stussy all the time in Hermosa, and when I started to read that story it was weirding me out.

Glad and sad at the same time to hear that Stussy himself isn't involved.
