That can be an unhealthy addiction. But I swear one of these days I will track down Buffy's sister and shoot her for nearly ruining the show.

haha. That's about the time I lost track of the show. I am going to catch up from that point and on with the DVD's pretty soon here. I spent an entire day, from waking up till going to sleep with a friend watching everything from episode 1 and up to the point I missed (he owned all the DVDs).

I could NOT help but like the series. I would always watch it :o

I also love the original movie. And Faith.

People sure said a lot of stupid shit in this thread. :p

I've never understood the people who wanted Joss to keep doing Season 2 over and over and over. I liked that the characters developed and they kept trying to keep it fresh, even though I sometimes didn't like particular shows and storylines.

I liked the movie. I only watched an episode or two of the series--it seemed too much in the WB genre for me. It didn't do anything for me so I never watched again.

You need to give it a chance. It's one of the most creative shows in the history of TV. At least in the history of the WB.

You will become addicted, and a nicotine patch can't help.

Is there a BBMB patch? I need one because in a couple of weeks, I won't be able to be here as much. The thoughts of that bring withdrawal pains that are already threatening to swallow me whole.

My BBMB patch is finding sites that don't require a credit card or ID.

It's funny because you sometimes sound like Buffy. I guess I mean that you read like Buffy. I mean that in a good way because that show was really well written. Joss Whedon makes up words that are similar to the ones you do. I can't think of an example right now, darn it.

Yeah, for the first time in ages, I started watching Buffy again, and I'm in the second half of Season Two right now. I forget the order of them so I was surprised to see the first werewolf episode in the middle of the Angel's bad storyline. :p

I know that Dawn was a pain and I wanted to kill Joss when she arrived. But Buffy needed Dawn in order to make the rest of the show work. With that show there is always a pay off, even if it's a long time coming sometimes.

Here's enree's valued lesson from this week.

When you post a photo--or even photo of your semi-self--in Sure Shots, be prepared for an onslaught of PMs and email.

I'm dug in. :o

I think I'd rather look like her. :)

I hope you mean early Buffy. Early Buffy was way better looking than too skinny late Buffy. There was a year there where you had to wonder whether she had the energy to pick up a crossbow.

I didn't follow SMG through the years & definitely not well enough to know the phases of her skinniness. I do tend to like the lean look in general but not when it startes to verge on looking like what Nicole Ritchie and Lindsay Lohan are doing to themselves. They are stick bony and it's scary.

Favorite. Show. Ever. (actually Sex and the City is now running a close second with Scrubs closing in at third)

I loved the series. Though I was sad when it was over it was the right time to end it and the perfect way to end it. I didn't much care for Dawn, but I didn't hate her.

I have a life size cutout of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy in my living room (Christmas present from the ex, prolly as much for him as for me, but whatever) and all of the seasons of Buffy and Angel on DVD.

You have your dream young lady, I have mine.

My dream is of having sex with Angel ala the episode (of Angel) when Angel gets unvampired and they sweep everything off of the table in his L.A. pad and fuck like bunnies all night.

Wait, just a second. Uh huh. There it is.

Okay I'm back.

I was loaned seasons 1 and 2 and thought it was good; I can't find season 3 for rent anywhere, so I just started on season 4, and MAN, does it suck. It's like the Batman & Robin of the series or something... it clearly got turned over to someone or some folks who don't "get it" but think they do because they latch onto the camp value and inflate it to new levels of obviousness.

*spoiler*

Though Oz leaving was genuinely affecting...

since i have no life atm i am working my way through all the buffy episodes (almost)

i started with season 4 (cos i felt like it) then went back and watched 2 (cos i've seen 1 too many times) and am now nearing the end of 3.

i haven't seen season 5 in full before, hardly any of season six and only the end of season 7 (i was busy at the time and also got bored of it) and i'm really looking forward to seeing episodes i haven't seen before :)

You can't just skip season 3!!! I will lend it to you!!! It has its ups and downs, but you have to see them graduate from high school!!! You don't want to see what happened to Angel???

(Seasons 4 and 5 have the best and the worst episodes.)

3 is one of the most important seasons!! gotta watch it.

i like 2, 3 and 4 the most.

Season 4 was my least favourite but it was still pretty decent.

Six has some of the most intense episodes, it got pretty nasty but still very good.

"Normal again" still kinda freaks me out :(

I was browsing play.com and checked the buffy box set thing...

You can get a box with all seven series, 39 dvd's. I want it :o
