your opinion on messege boards - the BBMB and others...

I was wondering about this - do any of you post on other messege boards regularley or just this one? what do you think of this messege board?

I regularley post on this one, but ive posted on others too - just random EzBoards that ive on a whim felt like signing up on.
I think i like this one the best though, i dont know if its because im used to it here or what, but i know everyone here, and everyone knows me.
I like the layout of this board too

I'm on a few. Mainly because sometimes this one doesn't move fast enough and so I get internet ADD and need somewhere else to go meanwhilist.

I used to post a lot on the deftones board. But then I met up with a couple of the girls and we got into a fight and I stopped posting. And then the board died. Or disappeared or something.

I'm on other ones (for exercise, running, and a couple of music-related ones) but they don't drift like this one does.

People tend to go into those other places for the topic at hand--there's no blurring between that main topic and other topics like there is here.

I tend to go to them for specific reasons and then leave again.

We all met up in Vegas to see the show at the Hard Rock and they were bitter because they had to leave the floor of the casino (not 21 yet) and I didn't and I got to hang with the band.

Simple as that.

I'm on a couple of others that both move much more slowly than this one and people post longer replies with more links attached for reference. I guess it's less chatty.

In one, they are a slightly older crowd, slightly more educated and there is less drama and whining. People don't complain about the sight there. There are more serious discussions and debates and people are more candid, they tell stories complete with embarrassing moments and honest reflection. No one there ever tells me I post replies that are too long, they never tell me I'm thinking too much about something, and they more enjoy arguing for fun. They are a little tougher-skinned too. They make jokes and they are smartasses more than people here who get offended more easily.

I admit I like that board more than this one but I still like this one because it's so quick and "stupid" and people are fun, and I really love some of the people who post here.

the other messege boards ive posted on are a lot slower then this one - i mean, at all times most of the time theres 10 or more people on this board so you tend to get replies and things really quick.

and i must say, the people that i "hate" on this messege board, i like a lot better then most people on other messege boards.

I post at one other. It's smaller but the people are super-wicked and we all know each other.

Less whiney and cruel than this one, but this place has a lot of charms.

I post on a forum for polyamorous folks. I post on another message board for young unitarian universalists. I post on a bunch of music BBSs. I post on the message boards on my own websites from time to time. Now and then there are a few political MBs that I mostly don't have time for anymore.
