Summary:


It's an old house and needs new paint, fixtures, has water stains, etc...but it has charm and as you can see, it's big! I need a new dining table and a desk (I ordered them today). I'm currently using Aiedyn's little desk.

I hope to put some posters in the playroom and toss some bean bags on the floor for kids to sit on as they game. Maybe get a cool rug, too. The possibilities with the place are endless. I'm even going to paint the dark paneling in the bathroom.

But the rest is sooo shabby chic colorful cute!! I love the living room. I love hardwood floors and high ceilings. New buildings always feel so cramped and plastic. I like it. It's sweet, it's pretty. I don't like the bathroom. :) I wish my apartment was so sunny and airy and bright.

I wanted a cottage kitsch living room, which is a mix of random cottage things...all nice and tacky like. I like old stuff from the 30's-70's. The rest is indeed Shabby Chic...at least that's what I was going for. ;)

I HATE the paneling. I like a clean white bathroom, because white makes everything look bigger, and a bathroom should look clean, in MHO.

You should have seen the house I lived in: cute, but heavily shaded. No sunlight. :(

The drapes I got on a budget, since I'm broke. I found them at Wal-Mart for $5 a panel! Quite a steal and I just love them.
