...I've got a book with a brief survey of the caves, but there's this new book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0810959003/qid=1122500687/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/104-7546104-2131900?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) I just saw that goes way more in depth on the subject.

Those cave paintings are amazing to me.

I really think one of the first geniuses was the person who -- without ever having seen "art" or "figurative drawing" before realized you could scratch around with a stick or a sharp bone or something and make lines and curves that represented people or animals or hills or what have you. Amazing.

Has anyone on this board ever visited this place? Does anyone here like this stuff?
