females working in the back room are extremely rare. this is kinda awkward. all the people that work in the backroom are mostly a bunch of goofy dudes. there's only two females that take care of the heath and beauty care section and they're not really all that girly. the type of girls you wound't want to get into a tangle with. so now with this new chick we can't come running into the backroom and be all like,"YO YO YO! there's a chick with her ass and tits hanging out in aisle 16! go check that shit out!. and i keep on trying to do her work for her. like if she's picking shit up and i feel like i have to help her since she's a chick and what not. i feel like im being a prick if i don't give her a hand. but she can easily hold her own even tho she can't weigh more than 120lbs. this should be interesting.

We have a girl working in the kitchen at the moment. It's weird because normally when you try to retrieve something from a cooler and somebody's in front of it, you say "watch your balls." But I doubt that would fly. Would "watch your box" be acceptable?

I used to have the same job. Stocking the shelves at the supermarket. Yuck. The guys used to piss me off something fierce when they tried to do my work for me. Then we got another girl and she acted like she couldn't pick up something that weighed a few pounds when she would come in on her night off lugging around her forty pound kid. Men are so gullible.

I showed up waaaay early for work this morning, since it was nice out decided to sit outside for about an hour eating a pastry and watching an elderly Korean woman holding a sign for shoe repair on the street corner. The sign read "Ace Shoe Repair -->". It was attached to a pole, which the woman held from the lawn chair where she was sitting. Every time the wind blew, the sign would spin around and point some other direction. Maybe she was sleeping, maybe she didn't care, maybe she's passive-aggressively taking her frustration out on whoever's making her sit on a street corner for hours in the summer heat, but she never bothered to correct the direction of the sign. I have no idea where Ace Shoe Repair is, nor would anyone else trying to follow her directions. Seems like pretty futile advertising to me. If I'd had a camcorder with me, I'd have taken some American Beauty style footage of it.
