I just thought this would be a good addition. say where to eat what to get and why. pricing and dress code maybe too?
I'll go first.

The City Tavern in Old Town Manassas. get the prime rib and loaded baked potato. you wont spend over 15 dollars and you get a great cut and a very good potato and a salad too. the staff are all very nice and its a casual place to go.

Casa Chimayo in Manassas - for enchiladas, or even just their chips and salsa. they have been open for like 30 years and its very good american-mexican food. they have really good salsa. its pretty inexpensive, good for dates.

Il Mi Restaurant in Chantilly - Korean Barbeque. good asian buffet and you can cook beef and chicken at your table on a little grill. its very inexpensive and a lot of fun.

Fosters Grille (http://www.fostersgrille.com/) - Manassas, Haymarket - Very good chicken sandwhiches and their fries are TO DIE FOR. the best fries anywhere. seriously so good. they grill everything right behind the counter. its very casual and pretty cheap. they have malt vinegar at the tables for the fries. yum.

Pitalicious (http://www.pitalicious.com) - Chantilly- good greek and lebanese food. they have stuff there i've never heard of. I usually get the chicken gyro. which is very good. they are fun and inexpensive. very busy at lunch time, but worth the wait.

Primanti Brothers.

thats a good start, and its a must to have everything on it, or your just not hacking it

then you can try...

the original hot dog shop - they harden your arteries right in front of you, and can feed a small army for under $10

the pretzel shop - best soft pretzels ever at 35 cents, and $2 gets you one with ham and cheese on it. great cheap lunch.

wholeys fish market - they have the freshest fish in town, and they serve up a mean selection of baked and fried deliciousness for lunch

but if you can't make up your mind, penn avenue in the strip has about a dozen places that will fill you up the right way
