I know there's many of you who collect all songs that sample the Beasties so here's one for you:

Divine Mind - Center Stage (Feat. MF DOOM) samples Adrock saying "Center Stage on The Mic" from LTI.

It's on a bootleg called Guest Shots Volume 1 and although the song is credited to MF on the bootleg the song is actually by Divine Mind but someone renamed all the songs so there MF Doom featuring...

There's a 12": Divine Mind - Front Page/Centerstage 12" single 2001 on Rent Money.

If you want a copy hit me up next time I'm on MSN.

I believe so. He also put a few issues of $5 Extra out.

Once I stopped working on my old site I didn't have much to do in the Beastie community except $5 Extra Issue 4, which didn't work out, and I was also working on an e-book based on the Tour Blog but I pretty much went on to other things.

I generally only pop in here on my birthday to read Happy Birthday messages :D

Is there an archive of where the $5 Extra issues are located?

yea... good call on that Sample, Jimmy...

also, since we're talking about MF Doom... (well, we were for one post anyway...lol)... I can almost swear that on KMD's BL_CK B_ST_RDS album there is the smallest Beastie Sample (and I can't place it) at the end of the song, "Get-U-Now"... if anyone can tell what it is, let me know...
(it def. sounds like Adrock, and i'd be willing to bet from LTI)... it's hard to hear because of the music and everyone else screaming... but everytime i hear that song, i swear it's an Adrock sample at the end...

$5 Extra's should all still be linked here http://www.musicfanclubs.org/beastieboys/5dollar.htm

Also Sir Dan was archiving the rest on his (http://www.sirdan.com/) site.

I checked out the KMD track and I don't think it samples the Beastie's but my speakers are playing up too :P

Also, the Divine Mind - Center Stage (Feat. MF DOOM) also appears on the first Doomilation Bootleg (2003).

could be my ears, hearing things... not odd... hehe... but good looking out...
and that Center Stage joint is tight...
it's the same verse Doom used on Monday Night at Fluid w/ King Honey, but it's flipped differently and it's a tight beat...so it's a nice listen... the other MC's are pretty tight too, not too familiar with them though...
the Adrock sample is on-point though... very noice..

if anyone cares, i did indeed find out the sample from KMD's 'Get U Now'... it is a small sample from 'Paul Revere'... it's Adrock's "Noww..." from the beginning of the song....
in 'Get-U-Now' that small sample is scratched over and over at the end of the song (maybe throughout the whole song)... and the vary last second of the song you can hear it better... it's very hard to hear though, especially with everyone shouting over the track... but i'm 98.6% sure about this...
