I now see why so many people have the CYH-IC era as their favorite. I want some more of this upright bass and conga shit. It's the fucking nut-high

i'm still convinced that most of IC was recorded during the CYH sessions...2 years in between records...and they toured.......come on!!!

I'd believe that. They sound kind of similar.

they're both good records, and i don't think they're that similiar, although ill communication is like a natural follow up to check your head in such a short space of time.
they said by the time IC was being recorded things were coming together much quicker, naturally if your making a record in a similiar way to the one you've just put out.
but to me, the album (IC) take CYH further, and in my opinion there's alot of songs on IC that wouldn't seem right on CYH...I mean SUre Shot for instance...thats a pretty different straight up hip hop cut than what you'd find on CYH.

He sure was a nutter, remember live on SNL performing sure shot, mca and mike were like "because ya cant, ya wont, then adrock comes in like "YA DONT STOP (!) (!) " but I spose Adrocks like that a lot when playing live.

lol! yeah i've got that snl performance, he's crazy! the so what'cha want recordings from 92 (i.e. with cypress hill) are crazy aswell. he's maybe mellowed slightly live these days, but i like it just as much...and you still get bits of complete nuttiness, for instance sabotage at the latin music awards last year...the george w bush -WWHHHHYYY!!! bit it is fucking extreme!!
i've noticed as a showmen mike d's as good as ever, and i also think yauch live is as precise as can be...they've always and continue to step it up live!

Where did you buy the dvd, pip07? I ask because I directed someone to purchase it at amazon.com, and he said that it's out of stock there.
Referrals for him?
